  What the Chamber can do for you… There are many benefits from joining Navan Chamber and we’ve listed them below! Local/National Networking Members of the Navan/Meath Chamber are part of the largest business organisation in Ireland. We are affiliated to our national body Chambers of Commerce of Ireland (CCI), which represents over 11,000 member companies nationwide and is a Social Partner with Government. CCI deal with the broader issues but it is the only countrywide network with a real presence to represent business at local level. Policy & Lobbying We meet with Local Government and lobby for a change in a variety of issues, including Local Charge, Local Infrastructure and Local Issues which concern traders. We also meet with National Government for other issue like rail links and motorways. Cert’s Of Origin We provide Cert’s of Origin for companies who require them when shipping goods. We give a discounted rate to our members. Affinity Offers From time to time we offer our members products or services from a variety of industries at a discounted rate. Networking Navan Chamber hosts a number of events throughout the year that facilitate the opportunity to Network, such as our very popular Business After Hours (BAH). We also host breakfast briefings and business lunches. On a lighter note, we host an annual Golf Classic and a President’s Ball. We also hold informative seminars such as our very popular Health and Safety Conference. The Right Contact From time to time we put businesses in contact with various bodies and organisations that may be able to help further their production, expansion or diversity. The chamber can put you in contact with potential new customers and clients. Members also have unique opportunities to make valuable business contacts through several Chamber-sponsored events including Business After Hours, Balls, Business Lunches, Breakfast Briefings and seminars. Newsletter Every Quarter we produce our Newsletter. This keeps all our members up to date with what is happening in Navan and the surrounding area. It covers important local issues and also contains different events which will be upcoming along with names of our most recent members. Business Referrals Navan Chamber receives hundreds of calls and correspondence each year requesting information on businesses, their products and services. Chamber staff uses the Chamber Resource Directory to respond to these inquiries. Your membership is truly an investment, as members receive priority when staff makes referrals. Developing Local Projects Your membership monies helps with the day to day running of the Chamber which in turn can assist local organisations in various projects such as Tourism, Enterprise Development and Town Enhancement, which in turn ultimately benefits your business. Website All companies who join Navan Chamber will get access to their own webpage which they can upload a picture of their premises or product and write a little bit about what their about! This will especially benefit smaller companies who may not want to invest in developing their own website. Committees Once a member of the Chamber, you will be able to join one of our many committees if you wish. If you are interested in a particular area such as Infrastructure, Retail, Membership or Events and have some spare time, we would be delighted to welcome you aboard one of our committees. |
